Five checks before you call

Thermostat set to cool, at least three degrees under the room temperature.
The breaker for the air handler and the one for the outdoor unit, and the grey disconnect box on the wall beside the condenser.
The filter. A clogged one can freeze the indoor coil, so if you change it, leave the system off for an hour before restarting.
Water at the air handler or a tripped float switch, which shuts the system down on purpose.
After a power cut, give it five minutes before you restart.

If it still isn't cooling, call or send the details and I'll come out.

Covered by the service call

Up to an hour of diagnostics at your house: refrigerant charge, the capacitor and contactor, airflow, the condensate drain and the thermostat. You get the findings in writing before any repair is quoted or started. That price is for working hours or a visit we book ahead. A call after hours is $200.
